INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS
Positive test result:Ā Ā
If all lines are visible,Ā Influenza A, Influenza B andĀ SARS-CoV-2 Positive.
The shade of lines may vary, but even if a faint/weak line appears, it should be considered positive.Ā If you have a POSITIVE result, follow theĀ guidance.Ā from your local State or Territory Health Department for guidance if necessary. If you are unwell seek medical assistance for SARS-CoV-2 and individuals withĀ a positive result or who are unwell must consult a medical practitioner for follow-up clinical care for Influenza.
Negative test result:
Only one red line appears in the control region (C), and no line in the region (A), (B), and (T)
The negative result indicates that there are no Flu A/B andĀ SARS-CoV-2 particles in the sample or the number ofĀ viral particles is below the detectable range. Even if you getĀ a negative result, you still need to follow all public healthĀ advice on limiting the spread Covid-19 and Flu A/B.
If symptoms persist, repeat testing and consultĀ a medical practitioner for follow-up clinical care.
Invalid test result:
No red line appears in the control region (C). TheĀ test is invalid even if there is a line on the region (A), (B), (A) and (B) or (T).
When no red line appears in the control region (C) for both tests,Ā the test is INVALID for both Flu A/B and SARS-CoV-2.
InsufficientĀ sample volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons forĀ the control line (C) failure.Ā Review the test procedure and repeat the test using a new test device.Ā If invalid result continues after repeating, please contactĀ Touch BiotechnologyĀ on the provided contact number orĀ email for assistance.
